About:
RPL Return = (Your RPL Staked / Protocol RPL Staked) * (RPL Supply * Inflation * Node Operator Share)57.23 = (640.5 / 7600000) * (19,401,717.09 * 0.05 * 0.7)
Important: there are a number of factors to consider when estimating returns over time.
PLS rewards
- rewards are subject to the rate of issuance from the Pulsechain beacon chain
- the beacon chain will decrease issuance as more PLS is staked
- regarding the smoothing pool, please note that median (rather than mean) MEV/Priority fees were used to represent the common experience; there will be a very small number of validators that receive extremely high MEV/Priority fees. The median results are better for the smoothing pool because participants share in the few lucky block proposals.
$POOL rewards
- rewards will decrease over time as more $POOL is staked
- as more $POOL is staked, this will take it out of supply
